Perfect location and exceptional amenities\"
by Nicholas Monroe
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rockin River Lounge and I can not wait to bring my extended Family back for a Reunion Getaway Weekend as it has private accommodations for everyone!
The location was perfect- private access to the Frio River and Garner State Park was a few miles down the road. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby food trucks and trying out the local restaurants and family owned outfitters/shops in town.
The highlight of the stay, however, was the simple yet stunning golden hour views from the pool patio - perfect place to get away, relax and unwind.
The rental was clean and well-maintained, and the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Wi-Fi was fast- and was mainly used to stream a few NCAA March Madness games but mostly to provide music via the Sonos System around big patio and the pool area.
Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the Concan area. It exceeded my expectations, and I will be back again later this year!

Golf Trip
by Gary Hardgrave
Last fall a group of 16 of us arranged a golf trip at Frio Valley Ranch Golf Club. We stayed right next door at the Rocking River Resort. We had a great time. The lodge was very accommodating with lots of space, swimming pool and large hot tub, clean rooms, tv sets everywhere, Wi-Fi, bbq pits, pickle ball and basketball court. We had a great time and we are planning another trip as soon as we can. Great place for reunions as well.

First time visit!
by Kathy
My husband and I visited for the first time spring of 2022. There were other friends there too, with children. What a great place, in a very low traffic area. Very spacious and well kept up. The lodge/meeting room for everyone to share was amazing! It has a huge kitchen where many people can work together to prepare food for a meal and spread it out along a bar/serving area. Large dining tables and chairs are nearby. It’s adjacent to the covered open patio where several grills are ready to use. The patio faces the setting sun and beautiful sunsets! The pool and hot tub are just off the patio. They are well-kept, clean and inviting! Lots of room for kids to play off to the side, within the view of their parents. The suites are spacious and very nicely kept. All in all, an amazing place to gather your friends or family for a relaxing get-away!

We had a golf outing in Concan last year and stayed at the Rockin’ River Lodge. Can’t say enough how awesome this place is. The rooms were spacious, great pool and hot tub and very close to the House Pasture and golf course. Great place for any kind of getaway! Highly recommend this gorgeous place!!

Our family had the best time at this place. It was enough room for our big family and we loved the pool. We will most definitely be back.

Great for big groups! Year 2 of taking 16 high school kids and parents was another success. This place is perfect for giving people privacy (own rooms with bathroom and kitchen) while having plenty of space to be together. We will be back for trip number 3 next year.
