My family of 7 stayed at Casa de Flores last week of July. The home suited our needs in every aspect. We enjoyed the nestled in trees privacy of this home. The river was a short distance walk, but be advised the walk down to the river is a mini hike not suited for the faint of heart. There is road that crosses the river but there�s rules not allowing unloading there. The home has a cabin feel and decor, but restroom fixtures could use some updating. Overall, it was clean and nice outdoor setting. We returned from one of river trips to find that the key we had on hand was not a match for our door. We called the office and they quickly responded and sent the kind gentleman that works the grounds. This was late in the evening, yet he arrived in less than 15 min. Forgot to mention, there was a baby Fawn on the property 2 days of our stay. We also bought corn for the deer and 5 would visit early evenings. They were the highlight of the trip for my hubby lol. Also, we mostly cooked our meals, but if craving Mexican food, the drive to Lala�s in Leakey is worth it. For yummy fried pickles, mushrooms and 1/2 a fryer, go to Neals. I would book this home again.
